Dr. Patrick Williams

Dr. Patrick Williams is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in English composition, developmental English, and African American literature, currently serving as Residential English Faculty at Maricopa Community Colleges since 2008. In addition to teaching a variety of writing courses and literature classes, Dr. Williams has held leadership roles such as Lead Faculty for Developmental English, Faculty Advisor for the CGCC Male Empowerment Network, and Co-Founder of the same network, which focuses on supporting underrepresented students. Prior experience includes positions at Eastern Washington University, where Dr. Williams taught First-Year English Composition and Developmental English, along with involvement in tutoring and academic support initiatives. Dr. Williams holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, alongside a Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Washington University.
