Andrea Castañeda

Andrea Castañeda is an experienced library professional currently serving as Branch Manager for the Maricopa County Library District since August 2018. Prior roles include Librarian II and Librarian I at the City of Mesa, where responsibilities encompassed adult and teen services, as well as a Library Paraprofessional at Maricopa County Library District. Andrea's library career began at the Phoenix Public Library as a Library Assistant. Previous to entering the library field, Andrea held the position of Executive Director at the Stardust Neighborhood Foundation and worked as Resource Development Manager for Communities In Schools of Arizona. Andrea holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Arizona State University.
