Library Operations Administrator at Maricopa County Library District

Maren Hunt is an experienced library professional currently serving as the East Region Manager for the Maricopa County Library District since October 2018, following a role as Branch Manager at Fountain Hills Library. Prior to this, Maren worked at Mesa Public Library from November 2015 to October 2018 as a Librarian III, coordinating the THINKspot makerspace and overseeing adult services, where programming decisions were based on community needs and data analysis. Maren's career began with youth programming at the City of Mesa and Farmington NM Public Library, and earlier experience includes editorial roles at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Maren holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a journalism minor from Brigham Young University.
