Soyenixe Lopez

Soyenixe Lopez serves as a Communications Specialist at Maricopa County Sheriff's Office since June 2019, overseeing internal and external communications, including newsletters and press releases. Additionally, since September 2017, Soyenixe has held positions as a Congressional Fellow with the U.S. House of Representatives and as a CHCI-Google Public Policy Fellow. Experience also includes working as a Broadcast Student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, an Office Assistant for the City Of Nogales, a Freelance Writer for Segunda Mano Magazine, a Broadcast Intern at Arizona Capitol Television, and a Beat Reporter for Cronkite News Service. Soyenixe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication from Arizona State University and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Pima Community College.
