Jana Lafreniere

Jana LaFreniere, M.Ed, LSSBB, CMP, serves as the Workforce Director and Manager of Organizational Excellence for Maricopa County, where leadership includes overseeing continuous improvement, learning and development, and program evaluation for one of the largest public health jurisdictions in the U.S. Prior experience encompasses roles as Manager of the Office of Performance Improvement and Continuous Improvement Leader at the Innovation Studio. Jana's earlier positions include Lean Process Improvement Coach at Sutter Health and Program Manager for the Lean Six Sigma Community of Practice at Blue Shield of California. Additionally, Jana has experience as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and as the Owner and Director of Operations for SWAT Fitness, a successful fitness training company. Educational credentials include a B.S.Ed in English and Psychology from the University of Arizona, an M.Ed in Educational Psychology from Northern Arizona University, and additional business qualifications in Project Management from the University of California, Davis.
