Ron Coleman

Ron Coleman is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior Communications Officer for Maricopa County's Department of Emergency Management since April 2013. In this role, Ron leads the development and implementation of public relations, marketing, education, and crisis communications. Previously, Ron acted as the Public Information Officer and Media Relations Lead for the COVID-19 Joint Information Center, assisting in the county's pandemic response and communications strategy. Ron's extensive background includes various roles in public information and community relations, including positions with the City of Tempe and Wichita State University. Ron holds a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, an MBA in Marketing from Texas McCombs School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
