Jess Timperley

Jess Timperley is a seasoned editor with extensive experience in editorial roles and publishing. Currently serving as Senior Editor at Marie Curie UK since November 2022, Jess has previously held positions including Deputy Editor at CPPE/The University of Manchester and Assistant Editor at CPPE. Additional experience encompasses roles as Sub-Editor at P&B Social and Marketing and Communications Officer at The Poetry Business Ltd. Jess has also worked as a Bookseller at Waterstones and as a Marketing Intern at CGP Books. Jess holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, both from The University of Sheffield. Leadership experience includes chairing the Express! Youth Forum and managing events and communications for the group.
