Patrick Djemo

Dr Patrick Djemo is a passionate champion and expert in comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights. For over 20 years, he has been a clinical provider, trainer and mentor, and has provided technical support to ministries of health and other stakeholders in countries including Zambia, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire and Togo on abortion services in the public health sector.

He has actively participated in the launch of progressive abortion standards and guidelines in the DRC. He has also held various senior management and leadership positions at country and regional levels in the international not-for-profit sector. He received his M.D. from the University of Lumumbashi - DRC.
