Richard Kintu

Richard Kintu, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in communication strategies and behavior change initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Communications at Marie Stopes International since April 2015, Richard provides leadership in developing impactful communications to enhance demand for long-term family planning methods. Previously, Richard worked with World Vision as the Campaign Coordinator for the "Child Health Now" campaign, where oversight and technical leadership were provided to improve maternal and child health outcomes. Richard's background also includes roles at the American Refugee Committee, Mango Tree Uganda, and GOAL Ireland, focusing on HIV prevention, training development, and social marketing. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Population Studies from Makerere University.
