Jillian Johnson

Jillian Johnson, EdD, currently serves as the School Principal at Marietta City Schools since June 2016, following a role as Assistant Principal within the same district. Prior to this, Jillian worked in Fulton County Schools from December 2012 to June 2016, contributing as an Assistant Principal focused on academic support and community engagement, as well as serving as Curriculum Assistant Principal emphasizing instructional coaching. Jillian's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in School Improvement from the University of West Georgia, a Master of Education in Reading Education from Mercer University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education in English from The University of Georgia. Previous experience includes serving as English Department Chairperson at Riverwood International Charter School and teaching English Language Arts at Fulton County Schools from 2004 to 2011.
