Matthew Simpson

Matthew Simpson, M.S. Ed, currently serves as Senior Human Resources Manager at Marietta Eye Clinic since June 2023. Previously, Matthew was a Human Resources Business Partner at One Medical, overseeing HR functions for over 1500 employees across multiple states. Additional experience includes managing HR for Cortland, MarketSource Inc., and Whitaker Oil Company, with responsibilities ranging from employee relations and recruitment to compliance and organizational development. Matthew's extensive background in human resources began at JCPenney, where various managerial roles were undertaken, from HR Manager to overseeing multiple departments. Matthew holds a Master of Education in Human Resource & Development and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, both from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
