Jonathan Hera

Founder & Managing Partner at Marigold Capital

Jonathan Hera is the founder and managing partner at Marigold Capital. Prior to launching Marigold Capital, they were the co-founder and CEO of Goodee, an e-commerce platform for sustainable home goods. Jonathan also served as a senior advisor to the London Social Value Fund and as the director of The Discourse, a Canadian media organization.

Jonathan's passion for social impact led him to co-found NeedsList, an online marketplace for humanitarian aid, and Ulula, a data-driven social enterprise that provides insights into working conditions in global supply chains. Jonathan is also a founding board member of the Youth Social Innovation Capital Fund, which supports early-stage social enterprises in Canada.

Jonathan holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.

Jonathan Hera has an IMBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a certificate in nonprofit management and leadership from Universidad para la Paz, a BA in political science and Italian from McGill University, and a Grundstudium in politikwissenschaft from the University of Konstanz. Jonathan is also certified by the Canadian Securities Institute in the Canadian Securities Course.
