Sérgio Tavares

Sérgio Tavares is the current President & CEO at Marilan Alimentos. Sérgio has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Sérgio Tavares started their career as a Planning Analyst at Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda. from December 1991 to May 1995. Sérgio then moved on to Marilan Alimentos S/A where they were the Commercial & Marketing VP from July 2014 to August 2018. Tavares was also the Supply Chain Business Partner Supervisor at Souza Cruz from May 1995 to December 1997.

Tavares has also worked at Kellogg Company in various positions. Sérgio was the General Manager - Brazil from October 2009 to August 2012. Tavares was also the Commercial Director Brazil from September 2008 to October 2009 and the Strategic Planning Manager - Brazil from January 2001 to January 2002.

Sérgio Tavares has a background in Business Administration and Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas / FGV, as well as a degree in Mechanic Engineering from Universidade Santa Cecília. Sérgio also has a Master of Business Administration in Corporative Finance from FGV - Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a post-graduate degree in Administration & Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
