Anna Vartiainen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Anna is currently the Head of Brand Collaborations and Creative Brand Projects at Marimekko. Anna also worked as a Senior Consultant in Creative Industries at Glasshouse Helsinki, where they supported businesses in strategic repositioning and global communications. Anna has held significant roles at Fiskars Group, including Director of Creative Content and Global Marketing Director for Iittala, where they led creative teams and built consumer-centric cultures. Their experience also includes positions at Vitra, Artek, The Finnish National Gallery, Solar Films Inc, Finnish Audiovisual Film Export, and the Finnish Cultural Institute in Paris. Throughout their career, Anna has demonstrated expertise in marketing, communications, branding, and creative partnerships.

Anna Vartiainen has a diverse education background in both art history and international business. Anna obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Business from Ecole d'Administation et Directions des Affaires in Paris from 1985 to 1988. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at Ecole Du Louvre in Paris, where they earned a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from 1990 to 1996. Additionally, Anna has obtained certifications in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from Emeritus and as a Certified Board Member from Tampereen kauppakamari in 2022.
