Matleena Pirkkalainen

Matleena Pirkkalainen has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Global Sales Operations at Marimekko since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at LEGO Group for three years, first as a Senior Key Account Manager and Site Manager in Finland from February 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they held various roles at LEGO Group, including Key Account Manager and Senior Customer Development Manager. Matleena also has experience working at EY as a Senior Consultant for a few months in 2014, and at Ernst & Young Finland as a Consultant from August 2012 to June 2014. Additionally, Matleena worked at Barclays Capital as an Analyst at Structured Products Sales Scandinavia and at Nordea Markets as an FX/MM Dealer.

Matleena Pirkkalainen completed their education as follows:

- From 2009 to 2012, they attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and obtained a Master's Degree in Economics, specializing in Economics.

- In 2010, they pursued a CEMS Master's in International Management at Bocconi University, which lasted until 2011.

- Additionally, during 2010, they participated in an exchange program at National Chengchi University, focusing on Finance and International Business.

- Between 2006 and 2009, Matleena attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and earned a BSc (Econ) degree in Economics and Finance.

Regarding additional certifications, they obtained CEMS Working Level Language Proficiency Degrees in English and German under the CEMS MIM program in 2011. Furthermore, they acquired Das Deutsche Sprachdiplom from the Kultusministerkonferenz in 2006.
