Nicole Tai

Nicole Tai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and reuse initiatives. Currently serving as Treasurer and Board Member at Marin Builders Association since April 2020, Nicole also contributes as a Commissioner for the Sustainability Commission of Novato since May 2022. As the Founder and Organizer of the Bay Area Deconstruction Work Group, established in December 2017, and CEO of GreenLynx, a company focused on deconstruction and material reuse, Nicole has significantly impacted the field. Additionally, as Chairperson of the Board for Reuse Alliance, a national nonprofit, Nicole aims to enhance awareness of reuse benefits. Previous roles include consulting on the start-up of the ARROW Building Materials Reuse Center in NYC and serving as Assistant Director at NYC WasteMatch. Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Conservation Resource Studies and Native American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Human & Community Development from the University of California, Davis.
