Chris Pflueger is an experienced educator with a diverse background in language and history instruction. Currently serving as an Upper School History Teacher at Marin Country Day School since July 2015, Chris has previously taught at Tehiya Day School and The Marin School, covering subjects such as World History, Geography, and Literature, while also coaching soccer and mentoring student government. Prior experience includes teaching Japanese at Arrowsmith Academy and both Japanese and German at The Branson School, where a Japanese language program was established. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Stanford University, a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Michigan, and has completed coursework towards a PhD in Japanese History.
