Mare Manangan

Mare Manangan has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Second Grade Teacher, Teacher, Middle School Division Head, and former Third Grade Teacher at Marin Country Day School since 1999. From December 2014 to July 2021, Mare co-directed the WonderLab STEAM Summer Program and has held various leadership roles, including Executive Board Member, Secretary, and Board Chair at Pacific Primary from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Mare served as a Board Member for Safe & Sound and was the Founding Director of the Turtle Rock Institute from 2002 to 2005. Past teaching roles include English and Humanities Teacher at The Park School in Brookline, MA, and Program Director for Summerbridge National from 1988 to 1998. Mare's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Haverford College.
