Sharon Barnett

Sharon Barnett is an experienced naturalist and educator with a career spanning over two decades. Since January 2006, Sharon has served as the Founder and Naturalist at Marin Nature Adventures, designing and leading various natural history outings. In addition, Sharon leads California Toad Crew as Founder and Director, a position held since January 2018. Sharon’s teaching experience includes roles as a Science Teacher at Marin Country Day School and a Hiking Instructor at College of Marin, both starting in 2007, as well as previous positions at Marin Art & Garden Center and Richardson Bay Audubon. Sharon's educational background includes a Master of Science in Education, focusing on Elementary Science from Dominican University of California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University at Buffalo.
