Michelle Wagner has extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety, beginning with the role of Animal Control Officer for the City of Palo Alto from 1989 to 1991. Following this position, Michelle served as a Crime Prevention Officer at the Palo Alto Police Department for one year, where responsibilities included neighborhood watch programs and crime trends analysis. From 1992 to 2009, Michelle worked as a Park Ranger for the City of Palo Alto, focusing on patrol duties, fire and first aid response, and habitat restoration. Since 2009, Michelle has been a Deputy at the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, engaging in patrol duties, serving as an instructor in firearms and first aid, and participating in specialized teams such as the Honor Guard and Hostage Negotiations. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from San Jose State University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
