Associate Director Of Lower School at Marin Horizon School

Julia Ripperton has a diverse work experience in various education-related roles. Julia began their career in 2016 as a student teacher at AltSchool and later worked as a student teacher and gymnastics instructor at San Francisco Unified School District and San Francisco Gymnastics, respectively. In 2017, they worked as a preschool educator at Stretch The Imagination and also began a role as a senior research assistant at the University of San Francisco, where they later became a university ministry lead tutor. In 2018, they joined AltSchool as a 1st/2nd grade co-teacher and later became an associate teacher at Convent & Stuart Hall. Currently, they hold positions as the associate teacher program director and 1st grade lead teacher at Marin Horizon School, starting in 2021.

Julia Ripperton completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of San Francisco from 2014 to 2017. Julia then pursued a Masters degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university, which they completed in 2018. At the same time, Julia also obtained a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. In 2022, Julia enrolled in the University of California, Riverside to further enhance their education by pursuing an Educational Therapy Certificate, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
