Marin Horizon School
Kirsten Komes is an experienced educator currently serving as a Primary School Teacher at Marin Horizon School since August 2016. In addition, Kirsten has been a Preschool Teacher and Para Educator at Park Elementary School in Mill Valley, CA since February 2015, and a Substitute Teacher with both the Marin County of Education and St. Helena Unified School District since September 2014 and January 2013, respectively. Kirsten holds a Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on Early Childhood special education and Autism from San Francisco State University, earned between 2013 and 2016, and is currently preparing to further develop expertise in Special Education.
