Krissy Waite

Krissy Waite is an experienced journalist currently working as a reporter for the Marin Independent Journal, focusing on municipal governments and covering topics related to crime, public safety, environment, and transportation since May 2023. Prior to this role, Krissy completed an internship at the Investigative Reporting Program, where responsibilities included writing Public Records Requests, reviewing police use of force cases, and data analysis. Krissy holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Environmental Studies from Ithaca College, complemented by various internships and editorial positions in the field of journalism.
