Ian Holmes is an experienced Sales Manager at Marin Sun Farms since June 2012, specializing in partnering with and supplying Bay Area restaurants, caterers, retail markets, schools, and companies with locally grown, pasture-raised meats. Prior to this role, Ian served as the Meat Department Team Leader at Whole Foods Market from February 2003 to March 2013. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in sociology and kinesiology from Humboldt State University, which was completed between 1995 and 2000, and graduated from Central Union High School in 1995.

At Marin Sun Farms, we are committed to creating a more sustainable food system by empowering farmers, conserving our landscapes, and restoring the vitality of our food-shed and its inhabitants. We do this by working with a select group of local and regional farmers who raise 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised, non-gmo, and/or certified organic livestock for our both of our meat brands: Marin Sun Farms & Mindful Meats. We are a vertically-integrated company, owning and managing our own USDA-inspected harvest and meat packing facility. We are partly woman-owned, have a very diverse workforce, and proudly support over 70 families in Northern California.
