Drew Ford

Drew Ford is a highly experienced musician and music educator, currently serving as Personnel Manager and Orchestra Librarian for the Oakland Symphony since September 2023. Previously, Drew has held roles such as Orchestra Librarian and Interim Orchestra Personnel Manager for The California Symphony, and Orchestra Librarian with the Marin Symphony Association and the Stockton Symphony, where Drew also served as Principal Cellist since September 2008. With an extensive background in orchestral positions, including Principal Cellist with the Utah Festival Opera and various other symphonies, Drew has also worked as a freelance cellist and private instructor since 1998. Academic credentials include a Master of Music in Cello from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
