Emiliano Austi

Emiliano Austi is a highly experienced professional in naval architecture and fleet regulatory compliance, currently serving as the Director and Head of Naval Architecture & Fleet Regulatory Compliance at A.P. Moller - Maersk since July 2014. Emiliano has managed various departments within Maersk, including leading the Naval Architecture department and acting as Project Manager for the construction of a new ultra-large container vessel. Additionally, Emiliano holds the position of Chairman for the TopTier project at MARIN, aiming to enhance safety in the container industry. Previous roles include significant positions at Lloyd's Register, Vuyk Engineering Groningen, and Centraalstaal, where Emiliano demonstrated expertise in project management and team leadership across multiple maritime projects. Emiliano's educational background includes a Mini MBA from IMD Business School and a Master of Science in Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology.
