Grethe Bakkevig

Grethe Bakkevig has extensive work experience in the industry, starting in 1993 as a Contract and Cost Engineer at Aibel. Grethe then worked as a Consultant, Cost and Contract for Statoil at Dovre International. In 2000, they joined Advanced Production and Loading AS as a Manager of Procurement and Project Control, where they stayed for seven years before moving to Advanced Production and Loading Pte Ltd. At BW Offshore, they held the positions of VP Project Controls and later SVP Business Management. In 2013, they became the Commercial Director at Eide Marine Contractors AS. Grethe then served as the Chief Commercial Officer at UPTIME INTERNATIONAL AS and Marine Aluminium AS. Currently, Grethe Bakkevig is a Member of the Board of Directors at Sperre Compressors and Norsk Industri Rogaland. Overall, they have held various leadership and commercial roles throughout their career.

Grethe Bakkevig attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1987 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Technology and Business Studies. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts with Honours/Master degree in Economics from the University of Strathclyde, from 1988 to 1992.
