Michael Shribak

Michael Shribak is a Senior Scientist at Marine Biological Laboratory, specializing in biomedical optics and advanced light microscopy since August 2000. With previous experience as a Senior Scientist at The A.V. Lykov Institute Heat and Mass Transfer and the Scientific and Technical Center “LEMT,” Michael has contributed significantly to laser therapy applications and optical system designs. Additionally, a tenure as a Visiting Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology further highlights Michael's expertise. Michael's early career at Lviv Radio Engineering Research Institute involved innovative work in optical disc storage systems, resulting in 32 patents. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Physical Optics and Spectroscopy from Lviv National University and a Ph.D. in Optics/Optical Sciences from Moscow University of Geodesy and Cartography.
