Jessica MacCarthy (Coulter)

Jessica (Coulter) MacCarthy is an experienced Conservation Analyst at the Marine Conservation Institute, where responsibilities include managing the Blue Parks Science Internship program and evaluating the effectiveness of marine protected areas through scientific literature synthesis and report writing. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, focusing on ocean and coastal policy, where Jessica designed methodologies for literature reviews and spatial assessments. Jessica also contributed to marine spatial planning at the Duke Marine Geospatial Ecology Laboratory and led initiatives for sea turtle conservation with Miami-Dade County.
