Joe Liethen

Joe Liethen is the current CFO at Marine Credit Union. Joe has held this position since March 2021. Prior to this, they were the SVP Accounting and Finance at Marine Credit Union from July 2020 to March 2021. Before that, they were a Consultant - Interim Controller at JRL Consulting LLC from March 2020 to July 2020. Joe's previous role was as Vice President of Store Finance, Staffing and Operations at Kohl's Department Stores from October 2016 to March 2020, where they oversaw all store operational expenses. Joe has been in the finance industry for over 20 years and is a highly skilled and experienced executive. Joe is a team player who has led teams of up to 30 people, all of whom are executive level professionals. Joe is a strategic thinker who has a proven track record of delivering cost savings and efficiencies while maintaining a high level of customer service. Joe is a respected leader with strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Joe Liethen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.B.A from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Accounting. Joe is also certified by the AICPA as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
