April Bright has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. April began their career in 1985 as a Store Manager at Safeway, where they were responsible for the operation of a retail grocery store. In 2008, April co-founded the San Diego Edible Garden Society, a nonprofit organization. April then joined Marine Corps Community Services in 2012, where they took on various roles including Marketing Office Manager and MCFTB Program Manager. Currently, April serves as the Deputy Director of Human Resources at Marine Corps Community Services.
April Bright attended National University San Diego from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management.
