Mary Johnson

Mary Johnson has a strong background in graphic design and illustration. Mary began their career as a Youth Recreation Leader at Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation in 2013. In 2015, they worked as an intern at University Graphic Systems in both digital and sheetfed printing. Mary then joined Cal Poly New Student & Transition Programs, where they held various roles, including Orientation Team Member, Graphic Designer, Orientation Lead, and Orientation Board Member. Within these positions, they were responsible for designing promotional materials, coordinating programming, and overseeing communication efforts. In 2017, Mary became a Freelance Graphic Designer & Illustrator before joining Marine Layer in 2018. At Marine Layer, they started as a Junior Graphic Designer and worked their way up to Senior Graphic Designer. Overall, Mary has a diverse range of experience in graphic design, illustrating their versatility and growth in the field.

Mary Johnson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communication from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Mary attended the university from 2013 to 2017.
