Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
Marin Hawk is an experienced fisheries program manager with a focus on sustainability and education within the seafood supply chain. Currently serving as the Senior Fisheries Program Manager for the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) since March 2015, Marin is responsible for outreach efforts to fisheries and seafood companies in the Americas, emphasizing certification requirements and assessment processes. Prior experience includes roles as Fisheries Manager at MSC and Fishery Management Plan Coordinator at the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, where Marin coordinated management plans for various fish species. Marin holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the College of Charleston, where a thesis investigated the impacts of management on recreational fisheries, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
