Omar Amara

Omar Amara is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in various development roles, currently serving as Software Engineer IV and Team Lead at Mariner Finance since December 2022. Previously, Omar held positions as Application Developer and M.E.R.N. Full-Stack Developer at Mesirow from August 2020 to December 2022, and worked as a self-employed software engineer from July 2019 to December 2022, specializing in building Progressive Web Applications. Omar completed a Software Engineer Fellowship at General Assembly in 2020, further developing expertise in front and back-end technologies. Before entering the tech field, Omar was the Director of Nursing at Eve Assisted Living from December 2017 to December 2019. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, earned between 2014 and 2017.
