Zannis Kostalas

Zannis Kostalas has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 as a Site Manager at pokercity.gr. Zannis then worked as a Freelance Engineer for various technical firms from 2011 to 2016. In 2014, they became a Financial Advisor at DHC Consulting ltd until 2017. From 2017 to the present, they have held multiple roles at MarineTraffic, including Data Curator from 2017 to 2019 and currently as a Data Scientist. In 2023, they will start working as a Data Scientist at Kpler.

Zannis Kostalas is a naval architect and marine engineer. Zannis obtained their degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in the field of geospatial analysis, GIS data formats, Python programming, and data science. Zannis completed courses such as "Geospatial and Environmental Analysis" and "GIS Data Formats, Design and Quality" from Coursera, as well as several data science-related courses from DataCamp, including "Importing Data in Python," "Python Data Science Toolbox," and "Intro to SQL for Data Science." These certifications suggest that Zannis has a strong interest in utilizing data analysis and programming skills within the field of naval architecture and marine engineering.
