Chris McEachern

Chris McEachern has a diverse work experience in the legal field, particularly in healthcare. They started their career as a Paralegal Intern at the Community Legal Information Center in 2011, eventually becoming the Administrative Director from 2013 to 2014. From 2012 to 2013, they also served as the Program Director at the same organization.

In 2012, Chris worked as an Office Assistant at the Department of Political Science, California State University, Chico.

They then transitioned into the healthcare industry, joining Sovereign Health Group, Vedanta Laboratories, and MedsRx Pharmacy as a Paralegal from 2014 to 2017. In this role, Chris was responsible for legal research and writing, as well as leading the real estate division.

From 2017 to 2021, Chris worked at Sutter Health as a Paralegal in the Legal Operations team. Sutter Health is one of the leading healthcare networks in the nation.

In 2021, Chris became a Paralegal at Babylon, a global digital health company headquartered in London. They played a key role in the U.S./Global Legal Operations, contributing to the delivery of accessible and affordable healthcare services.

Currently, Chris is employed at MarinHealth Medical Center as a Healthcare Paralegal & Physician Contract Administrator, starting in January 2022. They provide legal services and act as the in-house expert on highly-regulated physician contracts, while also focusing on industry expertise and process improvement.

Chris McEachern attended California State University, Chico from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Legal Studies. During their time at the university, they obtained additional certifications including an Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate and a Paralegal Certificate in May 2013. In August 2017, Chris obtained a Notary Public certification from the California Secretary of State. After working in the field for several years, Chris pursued further education at Purdue Global, beginning in 2022. Chris is currently completing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law, which is expected to be completed in 2026. Chris also obtained certifications such as being on the Dean's List at Concord Law in April 2023 and completing the Essential Legal Research program offered by Thomson Reuters in January 2023.
