Georgie Craig

Georgie Craig has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Georgie started their career as a Freelance Writer/Editor, working for various clients and publications. In this role, they wrote profile and general feature pieces for the Marin School of Environmental Leadership newsletter and served as a copywriter for websites using SEO principles.

In 1987, Georgie joined the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGATE as an Editorial Assistant and advanced to become the Financial Wire Editor. During their time there, they reported and wrote financial features and news stories on deadline and reviewed business books for the Chronicle's Sunday review section.

From 2000 to 2001, Georgie worked as a Venture Capital Editor for Red Herring Magazine, where they edited the DealFlow newsletter, managed a team of reporters, and wrote funding news. Under their leadership, the newsletter gained one million subscribers within a year.
