Josh Greene, RN, BSN, CCRN, CEN has a diverse range of work experience in various healthcare settings. Josh began their career as an EMT at Redwood Empire Life Support from 2000 to 2002. Josh then worked as an Emergency Department Technician and BLS Instructor at Palm Drive Hospital from 2002 to 2007. From 2007 to 2015, they served as an Urgent Care Assistant at Novato Community Hospital.

In 2002, Josh joined Marin General Hospital, where they held multiple roles over the years. Josh started as a Critical Care Float Pool RN II from 2002 to 2021. During this time, they also worked as an Intensive Care Unit RN II, providing care for patients with various critical conditions. Additionally, they served as a Lead ED Technician, overseeing the emergency department and participating in committees and leadership responsibilities.

In 2020, Josh briefly worked as a PACU RN at Marin Specialty Surgery Center, specializing in orthopedics, pain management, urology, and plastic surgery. Josh then joined John Muir Health as a CVICU Clinical RN III from 2020 to 2021, gaining experience in cardiovascular intensive care.

From 2021 to 2022, Josh worked as an Intensive Cardiac Care Nurse at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center, primarily focusing on cardiac conditions and procedures. Subsequently, they joined REACH Air Medical Services in 2022 as a Critical Care Flight Nurse, providing critical care services via air transport.

Currently, Josh is employed at MarinHealth as a Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN, specializing in interventional procedures for heart conditions.

Throughout their career, Josh has acquired various certifications, including CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) and CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse).

Josh Greene, RN, BSN, CCRN, CEN, has a strong educational background in nursing. Josh obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from San Francisco State University in 2018, with a focus on Registered Nursing. Prior to that, they completed nursing prerequisites and general education courses at College of Marin from 2014 to 2016, and Santa Rosa Junior College from 2003 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Josh has acquired various certifications and additional training throughout their career. Josh became a Paramedic after completing the Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) program at the Northern California Training Institute from 1999 to 2001. Josh has also obtained several certifications related to emergency and critical care nursing.

These certifications include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider, Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN-A), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).

Furthermore, they are a registered nurse licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing since 2019. Josh has also completed Mandated Reporter Medical Training from the California Department of Social Services in 2018. Additionally, they have certifications in Electrocardiology, Low to High Angle Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue Technician Instructor, BLS Instructor from the American Red Cross, and NIHSS Stroke Scale International from the National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIHSS).
