Jim Couillard

Jim Couillard, PLA, ASLA, boasts over 24 years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect and parks and recreation expert. Currently serving as the Director of Landscape Architecture for the Marion County Board of County Commissioners since October 2006, Jim has significantly contributed to the management of parks, the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, and the Marion County Airport. Prior roles include Environmental Services Manager, Vice President of Operations for Greenblades of Central Florida, Inc., Senior Associate at Michael Pape & Associates, and Designer at Parsons Harland Bartholomew & Associates, Inc. Jim holds an Associate of Arts degree with honors from Santa Fe Community College and furthered education at the University of Florida from 1994 to 1997.
