Assistant Administrative Director Revenue Management at Marion General Hospital

Kelly Lemons has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kelly started their career as a Lab Scientist at Dukes Memorial Hospital in May 1998. Kelly then moved to Marion General Hospital, where they held various roles. From July 1998 to January 2016, they worked as a Lab Scientist, specifically in the area of Hematology and Chemistry Testing. During this time, they were responsible for a wide range of tasks, including CBC, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Bone Marrow Slide preparation, Chemistries, Urine Chemistries, Calibrations, Controls, CAP ordering, and documentation. Kelly also played a role in education, competency evaluation, quality control, policy and procedure writing, supply management, result verification, validation of tests, and CAP inspections for the point of care department.
