Sofia Khan

Sofia Khan currently serves as the Mathematics Department Head at Marion P. Thomas Charter School since March 2024. Prior to this role, Sofia worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Mastery Schools from August 2020 to March 2024 and as a Geometry Teacher at KIPP Philadelphia Schools from August 2018 to August 2020. Sofia's educational journey includes serving as a Corps Member for Teach For America from June 2018 to August 2020 and gaining valuable experience as an intern at Monmouth Spine & Soft Tissue from January 2018 to April 2018. Sofia is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) at Drexel University's School of Education, having previously earned a Master's degree in Secondary Mathematics with a focus on Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University.
