Jason Plichta

Jason Plichta is a Clinical Mental Health Intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, working with veterans while pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jason Plichta has an extensive background in law enforcement, serving as a Police Officer at Marion Police Department since July 2019, with roles including Therapy K-9 Handler and Mental Health Awareness Instructor. Previous experience includes positions as a Training Instructor at the Police Training Institute, Juvenile Justice Specialist Intern at the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice, and Deputy Sheriff at the Lake County Sheriff's Department. Jason Plichta holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and is currently enrolled at Lindsey Wilson College for a Master's degree.
