Marion Polk Food Share
Allen Pfeiffer has extensive experience in volunteer management and program coordination, currently serving as the Volunteer and Vocational Program Manager at Marion-Polk Food Share since May 2015, where Allen also assists with the Meals on Wheels program. Previously, Allen worked as the Volunteer Program Manager for Deschutes Land Trust from November 2022 to January 2024, focusing on recruiting and retaining volunteers to support the organization's mission. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources/Conservation from Oregon State University, completed in 2014, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from Chemeketa Community College. Additional experience includes positions at Best Buy and GameStop, where Allen developed skills in sales and management.

Marion Polk Food Share brings people together to end hunger in the communities of Marion and Polk counties. We help local community members collect and distribute nutritious food for children, adults and seniors. We work with more than 100 partner programs, including food pantries, meal sites, and home-delivered meals, and we carry out programs to address the root causes of hunger.
