Eloy Valle Pérez

Eloy Valle Pérez has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and data. Eloy started their career as a Programador Java/J2EE at Universidad de Cádiz in 2006. Eloy then worked as a Java Software Developer at Excmo. Ayuntamiento de San josé del Valle, where they were responsible for web maintenance and development of various applications. In 2008, Eloy joined Indra as a Java Software Developer, focusing on a project called Nueva plataforma Aseguradora, where they contributed to the analysis, design, and development of the web application.

Eloy further expanded their expertise as a Software Developer at Atos in 2010, working on Mapfre Futura Asistencia project. Eloy was involved in support and development of assistance services, including the analysis, design, construction, and testing of multiple applications.

In 2015, Eloy joined StratioBD as a Big Data Developer, specializing in Spark and Scala. Eloy worked with Spark 1.6.3 and Spark Streaming, contributing to the development and implementation of big data solutions.

From 2017 to 2022, Eloy worked at NTT DATA as a Chief Architect, focusing on Data Innovation and Data Streaming projects. Eloy utilized technologies like Spark 2.4, HBASE, HDFS, Hive, Hadoop, Kafka 2.12, and Kafka streams 2 to drive forward data initiatives.

Currently, Eloy is employed as the Lead Big Data Architect at Marionete, where they are responsible for improving and modernizing companies through the implementation of Big Data solutions and Real Time Architectures.

Eloy Valle Pérez's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the Universidad de Cádiz. Eloy pursued a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering, specializing in Computer Software Engineering, and completed their studies in 2006.

In 2008, they participated in a Master program at Junta de Andalucía, focusing on programming in JAVA/J2EE-ORACLE. This program lasted for a year, concluding in the same year.

Apart from their formal education, Eloy Valle Pérez has been dedicated to obtaining various certifications. Notably, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate in May 2022. Eloy also holds certifications such as the Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka, GCP Associate cloud engineer, Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, among others.

Eloy'scertification journey began in November 2015 when they completed the "Introducción a Big Data" course, followed by multiple others, including "Machine Learning With Big Data," "Graph Analytics for Big Data," and "Big Data (2015) Specialization," all obtained through Coursera Course Certificates. Additionally, they gained proficiency in various data engineering and development technologies by earning certifications from Cloudera, Databricks, Hortonworks, Neo4j, TigerGraph, and Scrum.org.
