Sharon Barefoot

Sharon Barefoot is a Family Nurse Practitioner currently working at Mariposa Community Health Center since October 2022. Previously, Barefoot completed an APRN residency at El Rio Community Health Center from August 2021 to August 2022 and served as a Registered Nurse at UCHealth from June 2015 to August 2021, specializing as a Burn RN at Colorado's only ABA verified Burn Center. Earlier experience includes roles at Los Alamos Regional Medical Center as a Pre-op & PACU RN, at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center as a Progressive Care RN, and as an RN Volunteer with the Catholic Medical Mission Board. Barefoot holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Practice from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
