Dave Gosse

Dave Gosse is an experienced educator and consultant with a diverse background in environmental science, project management, and publishing. Currently a teacher at Maritime Academy Charter School, Dave instructs students in English, Computer and Media Literacy, and Boatbuilding. As a consultant with Wetlands Research Services since 2014, Dave provides strategic permit support and field assessments for wetlands in the Delaware Bay and surrounding regions. Previous roles include Senior Project Scientist at Duffield Associates, where Dave focused on wetlands assessments and permit support, and Conservation Planner/Aquatic Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy, where Dave developed conservation plans for various habitats. Early career experiences include positions as a Senior Policy Analyst at DynCorp International, an Editor at McGraw-Hill, and a Technical Editor at Deloitte & Touche. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Drew University.
