Eugene Mattioni

Eugene Mattioni serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Academy Charter School since July 2019, overseeing the education of 975 students from grades K to 12. Mattioni has been the Vice President and Secretary of Mattioni Ltd since June 1971, specializing in general civil litigation, maritime law, workers' compensation, and various other legal fields. Previously, Mattioni served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1971 and worked as a Ship's Officer in the U.S. Merchant Marine from 1962 to 1969, holding a license as Master of Ocean Steam & Motor Vessels. Mattioni earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (1969-1971) and a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (1958-1962).
