Esther Livingston

Esther Livingston currently serves as the Deputy Chief Executive of the CE Office, People, and Culture at Maritime New Zealand, where responsibilities include advising the Chief Executive, supporting the Board, and implementing internal health and safety strategies while fostering an inclusive organizational culture. Prior to this role, Esther founded Livingston and Associates Limited, focusing on translating strategy into operational success, and held senior leadership positions at Wētā Workshop Ltd and Callaghan Innovation, addressing people strategy, organizational transformation, and human resources management. Esther's extensive experience includes roles at the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Ltd and Tourism New Zealand, alongside a strong foundation in human resources management established during tenures at Comtex Group and Infinity Solutions. Esther holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies with a specialization in Human Resources from Massey University.
