Gordon Lo

Gordon Lo has a solid work experience in the technology industry. Gordon currently holds the position of Director of Solution Architecture at Maritime-Ontario (M-O) Freight Lines Limited since September 2023. Previously, they worked as an Independent Technology Consultant from June 2022 to August 2023. Before that, Gordon worked at Dynacare for a significant period. Gordon served as a Digital Solutions Architect from February 2017 to August 2023, and prior to that, they were a Senior Systems Developer from August 2012 to February 2017. In addition, they held positions as Systems Developer, Web Developer, and Systems Administrator at Dynacare between 2005 and 2012. Gordon also had a stint at 13sides Inc. as a Partner/Consultant from August 2010 to January 2020 where they worked as an independent consultant, taking on multiple roles including developer, project manager, and architect, to develop enterprise solutions for various clients.

Gordon Lo received their Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree in Honours Computer Science - Network Computing from Carleton University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their academic degree, Gordon holds several certifications. In 1998, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification, followed by the CompTIA i-Net+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications in 2005. Gordon also received the .NET Enterprise Application Development Certified Professional certification from Learning Tree International in 2008. Gordon further enhanced their skills by completing the Amalga Technical Qualification Program Level 300 from Caradigm in 2013. In the same year, they also obtained the Emergency First Aid with CPR C + AED certification from St. John Ambulance, Peel-Dufferin. Gordon expanded their knowledge in software development by completing the Accelerating Through Angular 2 course provided by Code School in 2017. Most recently, in 2021 and 2023, they undertook the HL7 FHIR Fundamentals Course and HL7 FHIR Intermediate Course, respectively, from Health Level Seven International.
