Ozgur Alemdag is a highly motivated entrepreneur and maritime professional with extensive experience in manning, training, and consultancy within the maritime industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Maritime Trainer since August 2013, Ozgur has previously co-founded and directed MTR Training and Consultancy INC. & Omikron Maritime Services INC. from July 2013 to October 2021. With a solid background as a Training Coordinator and Local Trainer at Besiktas Shipping and Yasa Shipping, along with earlier roles as a Deck Officer and Chief Officer on various tankers, Ozgur has developed and executed a wide range of maritime training programs. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Business Administration from Ege University, an MSc in Manufacturing Management and Marketing from Sakarya University, and a license as an Ocean Going Watch Keeping Officer from Dokuz Eylul University.
